My 'Tico House' is located about a 5-minute walk from La Fortuna center. This long-term rental when it's not on AirBnB, has 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, cable TV/internet, A/C in both bedrooms, a washer. It is pretty Tico and is fairly small. Better suited for 2-3 pp but sleeps 4. Personally, I think the BEST thing about it, within walking distance from the center of town and it is in a tico neighborhood, so you get the cultural aspect as well.
