Places Visited: Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakesh, and Tangier.
In December, I had the chance to go back to my home country of Morocco. For two weeks, I got to reconnect with family that I haven't seen in years and shared many laughs and tajines with. To have people that live on the other side of the world just love you so fully and genuinely is a blessing that I will forever be grateful for. They are some of the most youthful, generous, caring, hard-working people I've ever met, and though we are separated by distance, when I think of who I want to be, I think of them often.
Oh Morocco, how beautiful you are. This time around, I got to explore my country and it's breathtaking views through eyes of curiosity and appreciation. Morocco has such rich culture, that wherever you go, you're immersed in it. From the beautiful architecture to the bustling streets filled with bargainers and cheeky smiles.
In the video I made for the trip, I tried to capture the beauty that is Morocco. Though I must say the memories I have and lessons I've learned from this trip were far greater than anything an Iphone 8 plus could capture. The song in this video is very special to my family and me, as we spent many long nights singing to it in the car, the living room, and basically anywhere. Moroccans love to party. I'm so eternally grateful for every single person I got to spend time with during this trip. Even if I did not take videos of you, know that you helped make my trip one of the best vacations ever. Till we meet again.
